Well, I don't know about you, but I LOVE the Christmas season! I love the smells, the fudge, the music, the fudge...well, you get the picture! Mostly, I guess, I love the time spent with family. Knowing that for at least a few days, everything else goes on the back burner, work is set aside and it's just time for family to get together and celebrate not only being a family but more importantly, Christ's birth. A time of contemplating that the King of the universe, Maker of all we see and know, humbled Himself and came to this dirty, sinful earth to save mankind. To save me. That He didn't just come to give us a beautiful story of a King being born in a manger, He came to give us life! To take my sins and yours to the cross. To be our sacrifice. That's what Christmas is to me...the celebration of my Savior's birth...and more significantly, the realization that He came to die.

I hope as you rush around this holiday season looking for the perfect gift, that you'll stop for a while and give thanks for The Perfect Gift!
