Well, we're having a beautiful, cool morning in Kansas. It has been great to be home for about 2 weeks now! A rare thing in our family! Lots of projects done and fun time with the kids, along with some writing. It has been a huge blessing to be in our home church for the last few Sundays. Because we travel almost every weekend to different churches to minister, it can get kind of confusing for Shas! She has it all figured out now though, and every time we drive by our church she yells, "There's MY church!" It's wonderful seeing how excited she is to be in her Sunday School class learning about Jesus.

I've been reading in Colossians a lot the last few months. It's still a toss up for me if Ephesians or Colossians is my favorite book...I can't decide. I especially have been studying Colossians 3 and the "rules for holy living." The "put off" and "put on." I love how Paul just lays it out there..."put to death" the sin in our lives. Don't you wish you could just get up every morning and kill that sin nature? I do! I'm praying before my feet hit the floor for strength and wisdom and obedience in my life because I sure can't do it on my own!

So, as you're walking with the Lord today, remember to clothe yourself with, "put on:" compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over the top of all that, put on love. Love is the trench coat that ties the whole outfit together. :)

Have a blessed day walking with Christ!
